washer parts
NY1Krr asked:

I'm cleaning out the carbs on one of my motorcycles(02 triumph). I removed them once before and thought I cleaned them very well with carb cleaner spray, q-tips and small strands of speaker wire for the hard to reach places (I know I'm not supposed to).
Got them clean and the bike runs well but still not 100% so I am ordering a rebuild kit for the carbs. While I have them off the bike again I figured I would give them a really good cleaning.
What's the best solvent to use to clean carbs in a parts washer?
Also how do I know if a parts washer can handle a non-water based solvent? I've been looking at purchasing a small parts washer and prices range from $40-80 but not too many of them mention if they can handle non-water based solvents.
Thanks!

Corey
