dishwashers
Viva La Eire! asked:

when i got my dishwasher installed it said that the performance may be lowered slightly and washes may take a little longer if it is connected to a hot water source!

i would have thought it was the other way around!!
no, i resad it over and over, it said it may be reduced, nothing about it being increased!!!

dishwasher
Sergeant Brian asked:

I read that chefs keep their white coats white by washing them with dishwasher powder instead of laundry detergent. The article said that this would work on all "whites" but did not say how much to use. Does anyone know how much dishwasher powder to use in an average size washing machine?

dishwasher
Jeremy H asked:

It is a G.E. dishwasher. I never disconnected anything electrical besides unplugging the dishwasher. That seems like a strange coincidence if this went bad right after I removed and reinstalled the dishwasher, but I don't know what I would have done to cause this.
It is definitely not the copper pipe as water flows through this fine when disconnected. Is there any easy way to verify that it is a damaged solenoid. If so is this an easy/inexpensive fix?

CB S asked:

We are moving to a new house and taking our 3 year old white refrigerator and my many other white small appliances with us. (All are 3 years old or less). Problem is that the place we are moving to has a built in stove, dishwasher, and microwave that are black and 3 years old as well. Any suggestions? Can you reface all of these appliances or am I going to have to live with a mismatched kitchen for quite a few years?
